I've been using my new 2025 MacBook Air with the M4 chip for a few weeks now, and I can truly say it's a leap forward from its predecessor. The power and responsiveness have left me wondering what we were doing without it - apps open up with ease, multitasking is smoother than ever, and even heavy tasks like video editing and photo work run smoothly. It feels like a much more capable machine overall, and I can confidently say the difference is noticeable.

The display remains bright, sharp, and perfect for everyday use - color and clarity are top-notch. Battery life is still one of Apple's strongest points, allowing me to get through an entire day without worrying about needing a charge. The build quality, however, is what really sets this MacBook Air apart - it feels lightweight, solid, and premium.

What impresses most is how effortlessly the M4 chip handles modern workflows. Whether I'm editing videos, working with multiple apps, or streaming - everything flows smoothly and quickly. It's still silent and cool, but now I have even more power to play around with without any interruptions. Overall, this upgrade is definitely worth it if you're coming from an older MacBook Air, especially the M1 model.

The M1 Air's sleek design and vibrant screen made it an excellent choice for our daughter-in-law's nursing course, but its overall feel was slightly off due to a worn-out keyboard. Overall, the experience with this laptop was flawless, with seamless operation and effortless performance. The screen brightness and sharpness were undeniable upgrades over their older MacBook. Every aspect of Apple products is truly exceptional in terms of design, build quality, and user experience. The Windows laptop, on the other hand, felt cheap and plasticky next to this beauty. For a £750 investment, you get an incredible machine that far outshines its budget price tag. It's surprising how slim and light it has become, despite still maintaining its sleek M1 Air design language.

For students, this thing is a game-changer. Not only is it super lightweight and easy to carry around, but it's also incredibly portable. The M4 chip is truly a powerhouse that can handle even the most demanding tasks with ease.

One of my favorite features is its impressive portability - despite having limited ports, I've found simple solutions like a USB-C dongle can easily keep me connected on the go.

At home, I've used it as a desktop for long periods of time without any issues. In fact, I love that it's so compact and discreet - it's perfect for carrying around to class or school.
