Product Reviews

Name: Review:
I've recently upgraded to this particular model and I must say, it's been a game-changer for my daily routine. The screen has improved significantly since the previous one - now I can see every detail with crystal clarity. It feels great in hand, too - the weight and balance are perfect.

I purchased the Zenbook 14 OLED UX3402VA variant last night, only to see that the price had skyrocketed during Black Friday. The device itself is solid and well built, but I'm still waiting for my box contents to arrive before I can provide a more detailed assessment.

Upon initial setup, I ran some diagnostics from BIOS (Power + F2) to ensure everything was functioning properly before installing Windows 11 Home. Despite this, the OLED screen has a noticeable slight grainy effect when viewed closely, which might be an issue for those who prefer a crystal-clear display.

The touchpad feels nice and responsive, with my built-in numpad taking some getting used to. However, I've noticed that keyboard backlight is inconsistent at times, but it's not something that needs constant attention.

One area of concern is the thunderbird port, which is mounted slightly wonky in relation to the case. Despite this, everything has worked smoothly so far. The device feels stable and secure, with a decent weight to it.

The default refresh rate is set to dynamic, but I've found it's more suited for balanced mode, where light web browsing allows fans to remain silent. In general terms, my experience with the Zenbook 14 OLED UX3402VA has been positive, but there are still some minor issues to iron out before I can give a full review.

The ASUS Zenbook (Model - UX3402ZA) I purchased in May 2024 was supposed to be my new laptop, but unfortunately, it's been plagued with issues since August 2025. The camera has stopped working and no amount of troubleshooting or support from ASUS' UK team seems to have made a difference.

Their phone numbers are unresponsive, their email addresses don't receive any replies, and the self-service maintenance forms on their website won't load. I've tried reaching out for help multiple times, but my queries always seem to go unanswered.

I've also found that when trying to get support, it's not worth the effort - a few clicks on a form isn't enough to resolve an issue that has already been going on for months. If you buy ASUS products now, make sure you're aware of what you can expect in terms of customer support. Unfortunately, my experience with ASUS has been far from ideal.

Despite having purchased their product and receiving some assistance through third-party support services like the one they have offered me, I've yet to receive a definitive resolution to my problem. As a result, I'm looking at writing off the product within 18 months of usage - it's not an ideal situation for anyone.
