It's clear that I'm not entirely impressed with Rolls Royce quality for this price point, but the real challenge lies in getting the drawing board to be suitable for its intended purpose.

The main straight edge moves smoothly and accurately, which is a significant plus. However, it would take some practice to get used to the permanently lubricated guide track, as it seems to be made of plastic that's also moving on itself. Having this feature can make it difficult to achieve precise results.

In particular, getting accurate readings from my drafting square was a challenge. The angle markings were slightly misaligned, which could lead to errors and inaccuracies in the final drawing. While I've found that with some care, I've been able to get them correct when needed.

The set square also exhibited some play on its track, but it's something that can be easily adjusted for accuracy once you find your groove. The paper clamping has worked well based on my limited experience so far.

While Rolls Royce quality is certainly a thing of beauty, I'm not convinced that this drawing board meets the standards I've come to expect from such products.

I've had this drawing board for a while now - since I started cartooning in 1993. It's been a faithful companion through all those hours spent with my left arm pressed flat on a surface, applying pressure that has taken a toll on my elbow and fingers over time. The pain is a constant reminder of the importance of proper ergonomics.

This drawing board is so much more comfortable to use than anything I've ever owned before. It's perfect for laying out lines and borders - the extra space is really useful when working on complex compositions. One thing that really sets it apart, though, is how well it fits in my kitchen. It's small enough to be easily moved around, but still provides the stability I need.

The construction of this board has held up remarkably well over time. The material is sturdy and can support a surprising amount of weight - which means it's great for use in the studio or at home. One other feature that really impressed me is how easy it is to move around once you've set it up.
